Served as legal consultants to the Power Sector Assets
and Liabilities (PSALM) Corporation in connection with
the privatization of the government owned National Power
Company (NAPOCOR) estimated to generate between US$
4 - 6 Billion in proceeds for the Philippine Government.
• Acting as legal consultant to the Philippine
Electricity Market Corporation (PEMC) and assisting
in the preparatory activities for the operation of the
Philippine wholesale electricity spot market (WESM).
• Acted as local legal consultant to the buyer
in the first successful acquisition of non-performing
assets and establishment of special purpose company
under the new Philippine Special Purpose Asset Vehicle
(SPV) Law.
• Served as legislative
consultants to the Philippine Senate as members of the
technical working group for the drafting of legislation
to govern asset backed securitization (ABS).
