PJSLaw at the Thomson Reuters Conference-Singapore

PJS Law was recently invited to the 17th Financing Energy Projects in Asia (FEPA) Conference in Singapore organized by Thomson Reuters. PJS Partner and Head of Energy Group, Monalisa C. Dimalanta, was among the panel speakers for Indonesia and the Philippines at the conference held on 8 November 2012 at One Raffles Quay, Singapore.

Together with panel members from the Asian Development Bank and the Indonesia Infrastructure Guarantee Fund, Monalisa presented and discussed the improving investment climate in the Philippines and some prospects for energy projects in the country. The panel discussion focused on issues affecting financing of energy projects in Indonesia and the Philippines, while the rest of the conference focused on the challenges to financing projects in the rest of countries in the Southeast Asian region.

The conference was attended by about 150 delegates from investment banks, project developers, fund managers and utilities in the region; it was co-sponsored by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Standard Chartered Bank and ANZ.
