She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree (Metallurgical Engineering) from the University of the Philippines in 2002 and is a member of the Society of Metallurgical Engineers of the Philippines. Scope of work includes review and advice on various operational contracts, as well as representation before government agencies and administrative bodies for approval of related agreements.
  • Acted as part of team engaged as transaction counsel for a foreign corporation involved in coal mining and coal-fired power generation in relation to the acquisition of a coal-fired thermal power plant in the Philippines.   • Currently part of the team acting as local legal counsel for a Philippine corporation engaged in the geothermal power generation industry. Scope of work includes review and advice on various corporate and commercial law concerns.

Work includes conduct of due diligence review, as well as drafting and review of related agreements.
  • Provides advice to investors in the Philippine mining industry in relation to matters involving corporate, commercial, property, environmental, and contract law. Work includes conduct of due diligence review and preparation of report; drafting, negotiation, and review of definitive agreements relating to mining and exploration activities; rendering advice on possible investment structures and regulatory frameworks in relation to acquisition of interest in Philippine corporations holding mining contracts and agreements with the Philippine government.
