NPC extends validity of PICs and PIPs

The National Privacy Commission (“NPC”) announced on 30 June 2020 that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its targeted launch for the new Phase II registration system is moved from 01 July 2020 to 04 January 2021. In line with this, the NPC is also extending the validity of all existing Phase I registrations of Personal Information Controllers and Personal Information Processors until 07 March 2021.
