PJS Law welcomes new year with new Partner, round of promotions

As we usher in the new year, PJS Law welcomes a new member to the Partnership and the promotions of several lawyers to Senior Associates.

Entry into the Partnership of Elaine Marie G. Laceda

Elaine is one of the Philippines’ most active and leading lawyers in the fields of Banking & Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. She represents clients in banking, real estate, infrastructure and renewable energy industries. Elaine joined the firm in 2013 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2016. Elaine received her dual degrees in Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) and Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the De La Salle University Graduate School of Business and Far Eastern University Institute of Law in 2011 and attained the 9th highest ranking in the Philippine Bar Examinations that same year.

“We are excited to welcome Elaine to the Partnership,” according to PJS Law Managing Partner, Regina Jacinto-Barrientos. “With each new member, we see growth and evolution of PJS Law into a more responsive and dynamic institution. The past year has been challenging and we are truly blessed to have Elaine battling it out with us and leading our younger lawyers in navigating the uncertainties.

The promotion will boost the PJS team of Senior Associates which includes Rachelle Lim-Magtanggol (Labor & Employment, Immigration) Gay Zareno (Energy, Tax), Mikko Mendoza (Corporate/M&A, Banking & Finance), Ponch Pinlac (Conflict Resolution), and Butch Ramiro (Conflict Resolution, Energy-Litigation, Infrastructure).
