Frontier Tower Associates Philippines, Inc. announced on Monday the completion of its acquisition of PLDT’s telecommunications towers and associated passive telecommunications infrastructure assets.

The 230-tower sale is a part of the 1,012 towers acquired by Frontier through a PHP 12.1 billion sale-and-leaseback deal announced back in March 2023.

BDO Unibank, Philippines’ leading commercial bank, was tapped by Frontier Tower to provide debt facilities to finance the acquisition of the towers.

PJS Law, led by Partners Elaine Marie Laceda and Miguel Antonio Mendoza with Associates Vanayan Odsey, Christian Marchan, and Shannen Pua, acted as Lenders’ counsel for the financing side of the transaction.
